Nuclear Photographers
Absolutely amazing photography at the New York Times today from a series of photographs taken by a corps of Army photographers of tests of atomic bombs during the 1950s. It’s hard to imagine today that hundreds of tests were conducted in the Pacific and Nevada desert on a regular basis. Many of the photographers died early over the years, although a few have been fortunate enough to live long lives and talk about it, as one does in the audio portion of this presentation.
